Job summary

Paragon Genomics is seeking a Senior Manager/Business Development Manager for the US West Coast, based in Fremont, CA. The role drives revenue growth through direct sales, key accounts, and strategic partnerships across hospitals, academic medical centers, and clinical labs.

The candidate will lead efforts in precision oncology, educate customers on RUO positioning, and manage the full sales cycle. A four-year degree is required with 7+ years in life sciences sales and a willingness to travel up

Qualifications

• Seven plus years of progressive sales, business development, or commercial experience within the Life Science Diagnostics industry.
• Extensive knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows, terminology, platforms, bioinformatics, and data reporting.
• Proven success selling into hospital systems, molecular diagnostics labs, or clinical reference laboratories.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in the U.S. market, primarily the West Coast, with a focus on precision oncology.
• Identify and close opportunities with hospitals and clinical labs.
• Educate customers on RUO positioning within clinical workflows.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand Paragon's oncology footprint in the U.S.
• Collaborate with partners to accelerate market entry and customer acquisition in oncology-focused LDT labs.
• Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to leadership.
