SurfacePrep is seeking a Safety Product Specialist to drive growth across the West Coast, with focus on Southern California. You will work with customers, sales teams, and partners to uncover opportunities, strengthen relationships, and deliver innovative PPE solutions that improve safety and productivity.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial safety or related fields, knowledge of OSHA/ANSI standards, and strong consultative selling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial sales, safety, PPE, or related field.
• Knowledge of respiratory protection and PPE applications.
• Familiarity with OSHA/ANSI standards preferred.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to train, influence, and collaborate across customers, sales teams, and suppliers.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the regional subject matter expert for PPE and safety solutions.
• Partner with sales to identify new business and expand existing accounts.
• Evaluate customer applications and recommend effective PPE and safety solutions.
• Lead product demonstrations, trials, conversions, and standardization initiatives.
• Deliver technical product training and support new product rollouts.
• Collaborate with supplier partners on training and growth initiatives.
• Leverage CRM and analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support regional business planning and trade show activities.
