Job summary

DLC Management Corp. is seeking a Director of Leasing to lead strategic leasing for a portfolio of shopping centers. You will identify tenants, negotiate leases, and manage relationships with retailers and brokers.

The role requires 7–10 years in leasing, strong sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel as needed. This is a hybrid position with great training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of leasing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the retail leasing process, LOI and lease terminology.
• Proven track record of negotiating leases with national retailers.
• Frequent travel as required and strong budgeting involvement.

Responsibilities

• Continuously identify prospective tenants for our shopping centers and present leasing opportunities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local and national retailers and brokers; engage in ICSC events.
• Draft and negotiate proposals for new leases and renewals.
• Participate in annual leasing budget preparation for assigned properties.
• Develop and implement Leasing/Marketing strategies for each property to meet or exceed budgets.
• Understand market conditions, rents, and trends for assigned properties.
• Drive speed to execution from LOI to grand opening.
