Job summary

Seyfarth Shaw LLP is seeking a Senior Manager of Partner Recruiting to lead the recruitment, onboarding and integration of lateral partners across West Coast offices. You will report to the Senior Director of Legal Recruiting and collaborate with office leaders to align hiring with growth priorities.

You will drive market research, build a robust candidate pipeline, coordinate interview strategies, and manage relationships with search firms. Travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of legal recruiting/talent management experience in a law firm or professional services setting.
• Bachelor's Degree required; J.D. preferred.
• Existing network of relationships with productive recruiters and search firms at the partner candidate level.
• Prior experience managing direct reports preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the legal market and related professional groups.
• Strong analytical thinking, drive, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and integration for all lateral partners on the West Coast.
• Coordinate with Senior Director of Legal Recruiting and office leaders to identify hiring needs and growth priorities.
• Build lateral partner pipeline with market research and competitive intelligence.
• Develop interview strategies and bespoke approaches for candidates.
• Collaborate with inclusion & diversity to advance diversity initiatives.
• Create marketing materials to support recruiting objectives.
• Supervise and mentor other recruiting team members; engage with external recruiters.
