Job summary

The Senior Manager of Partner Recruiting at Seyfarth will oversee the recruitment, onboarding and integration of lateral partners across the West Coast offices, reporting to the Senior Director of Legal Recruiting. Qualifications

• 6+ years of legal recruiting/talent management in a law firm or professional services, including lateral partner recruiting.
• Bachelor's Degree required; J.D. preferred.
• Existing network with productive recruiters/search firms at partner level.
• Prior experience managing direct reports preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the legal market and professional groups.
• Strategic and analytical thinking, drive, initiative, problem-solving.
• Excellent client service, organizational skills, attention to detail, prioritization and multitasking.
• Strong written and verbal communication; interpersonal with stakeholders and candidates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting databases/ATS (LawCruit, viDesktop, Firm Prospects).
• Willingness to travel and extend hours; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Director and stakeholders to identify hiring needs and growth priorities.
• Build a robust lateral partner pipeline through market research and networking.
• Track market trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Cultivate relationships with search firms, firms, and industry groups.
• Develop recruitment strategy and interview slate tailored to each candidate.
• Review evaluations and due diligence with leadership and partners.
• Support diversity initiatives in partnership recruitment.
• Lead and mentor recruiting team members.
