Job summary

Seyfarth Shaw LLP is seeking a Senior Manager of Associate Recruiting to lead West Coast entry-level and lateral recruiting efforts from Los Angeles or San Francisco offices. You will partner with the Director of Associate Recruiting to design campus outreach, manage the West Coast summer program, and drive strategic recruitment initiatives to attract top law students and laterals.

You will oversee on-campus programs, coordinate onboarding, trainings, and assessments, and build relationships

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of legal recruiting/talent management experience in a law firm setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; J.D. preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of the legal market and relationships with legal organizations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and attend year-round campus outreach initiatives to raise Seyfarth's profile at key law schools.
• Plan and execute the West Coast summer associate program, including onboarding and trainings.
• Drive the West Coast lateral recruiting strategy and oversee the hiring process.
• Cultivate relationships with search firm recruiters and respond to hiring needs.
• Represent the firm in local and national legal recruiting organizations.
• Track market data and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
