Job summary

Almac Group is seeking a Business Development Director for the West Coast to grow the client base and expand services within the region. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, presenting capabilities, and driving RFPs and contracts with pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

You will work to align offerings with customer needs, manage proposals, and drive revenue targets while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction across the West Coast market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical science, life science or physical science.
• 5 years experience within CMO business development environment.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Pharma/Biotech sector in US.
• Demonstrated success in developing the customer base, closing sales and delivering on financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential clients, visit client sites and periodically host clients at Almac's site(s).
• Present Almac Sciences' capabilities and value proposition leading to CDAs and RFPs; negotiate to win contracts.
• Represent Almac at industry trade shows and conferences; provide reports of activity and feedback.
• Prepare competitive proposals for RFPs with deliverables, budget and timeline; ensure customer satisfaction.
