Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort seeks a dynamic Director of Group Sales to lead a diverse corporate and association portfolio across national markets. You will drive revenue growth, build trusted client relationships, and align sales with operations to deliver exceptional events and client experiences.

You will partner with catering, revenue management, and marketing to create customized proposals, nurture key accounts, and expand brand visibility through industry engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in hotel sales or related field.
• At least 4 years in a senior or leadership-level sales role.
• 3+ years experience managing or leading a sales team and driving revenue growth.
• Experience using sales and CRM systems (Delphi, Salesforce) and PMS systems (Opera, SynXis).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive group sales strategies aligned with revenue goals.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new corporate and association group business in national markets.
• Strengthen existing accounts through proactive engagement and customized solutions.
• Represent the hotel at networking events, industry functions, and sales missions.
• Collaborate with operations, catering, revenue management, and marketing for seamless event execution.
• Lead and inspire a team of group sales professionals and coach team members.
