Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort seeks a dynamic Director of Group Sales to lead and grow a diverse corporate and association group portfolio across national markets. You will drive revenue and serve as a brand ambassador, blending innovative sales strategies with relationship-building to elevate the property’s market presence.

You will partner with internal teams to align sales initiatives with business objectives, ensuring exceptional client experiences and sustained revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field.
• Master's degree in business or hospitality management is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in hotel sales or related field.
• At least 4 years in a senior or leadership-level sales role.
• 3+ years of experience managing or leading a sales team and driving revenue growth.
• Experience using sales and CRM systems such as Delphi, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of PMS such as Opera, SynXis, or comparable systems.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, distribution channels, and OTA platforms.
• Certified Hospitality Sales Professional (CHSP) designation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute group sales strategies aligned with revenue goals for rooms and F&B.
• Analyze market trends and client insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of national group business year-round.
