Job summary

Corporate Traffic Logistics in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support customers and carriers during Pacific Time business hours. Based in our Jacksonville office, you will manage shipments from pickup through delivery and act as the primary contact for all parties involved.

This role requires 1+ year in freight brokerage or transportation logistics, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of freight brokerage or transportation logistics experience required.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn transportation management systems (TMS).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage active shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, carriers, and drivers throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve transportation issues with timely updates.
• Maintain accurate, real-time shipment information within internal systems.
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless freight execution.
• Partner with daytime operations to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
• Maintain detailed records of shipment activity, communications, and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and transportation regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carrier partners.
