Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Field Evaluations Engineer to conduct on-site labeling and certification testing for industrial machinery and electrical systems in the western United States. This role involves managing client projects and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates should have familiarity with various electrical codes and standards. Frequent travel, approximately 80%, is required for this position. A referral bonus of up to $1,000 is offered for successful hires.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with NFPA 79, UL 508A, IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-1, UL 2011, EN 60204-1, EN ISO 10218.
• Knowledge of NEC, CEC, and relevant local/provincial electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field labeling and certification testing according to regulatory standards.
• Provide feedback on compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Design and implement test strategies to assess compliance and reliability.
• Manage client projects by selecting testing methods and ensuring standards application.
