Job summary

White & Case LLP is seeking a Senior Events Manager for the West Coast to lead an active events program, spanning virtual, in-person and hybrid formats. The role partners with Business Development, Marketing and Knowledge teams to deliver high-impact client experiences.

You will oversee budgeting, vendor negotiations and ROI reporting, while mentoring staff and coordinating regional objectives. This is a hybrid LA-based position with occasional travel and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in events and hospitality.
• Strong budget and vendor management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead West Coast events program including virtual, in-person and hybrid events (300+ per year).
• Support Americas Senior Events Manager with team and project management.
• Mentor team members and enforce best practices.
• Set annual event objectives with stakeholders and measure success.
• Manage event ROI data and budgeting, reporting to stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-region sponsorships and regional/event data updates.
