Gradient is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to own the West Coast territory (CA, OR, WA). You will sell Gradient heat pump hardware alongside our software and platform services, building a pipeline focused on qualified opportunities and predictable bookings that translate into timely shipments.

The role involves traveling ~30–40% across the territory, with a base salary range of $125,000–$145,000 and on-target earnings of $175,000–$195,000 plus equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of quota-carrying B2B sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Sales experience in HVAC, building energy, efficiency, or related fields.
• Experience selling both hardware and software, with recurring revenue where possible.
• Working knowledge of electrification incentives including utility programs and rebates.
• Comfort with long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving diverse stakeholders.
• Strong CRM forecasting and pipeline management using Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Clear, direct written and verbal communication, including executive-level proposals.

Responsabilités

• Own the full sales cycle across CA, OR, and WA from prospecting to close and deployment.
• Sell combined hardware and software deals with recurring service offerings.
• Build relationships with affordable housing developers, housing authorities, and campuses.
• Work with utilities and program administrators to secure incentives and rebates.
• Help customers stack incentives into financeable projects and reflect in proposals.
• Recruit and support channel partners to speed up deployment.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and forecast bookings, shipments, and revenue.
