Job summary

Peakline Partners is seeking a West Coast Managing Director of Business Development to lead investor sourcing, relationship management, and capital raising across the Western United States. This senior, client-facing role requires deep West Coast relationships and a proven fundraising track record.

The role is remote with travel across the West Coast (CA, OR, WA, CO, NV, AZ, NM, UT, WY, MT) and will involve collaboration with the Firm Services team to deliver a high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

• 7–12+ years of experience in business development, capital raising, or investor relations within asset management or alternative investments.
• Established network of relationships with West Coast family offices, RIAs, and/or institutional investors.
• Strong understanding of private markets including private equity, venture capital, private credit, and real estate.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Highly self-motivated with ability to operate independently in a regional role.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with West Coast family offices, RIAs, private banks, and institutional investors across the West Coast.
• Serve as primary point of contact for investors, delivering a high-touch, consultative client experience.
• Lead and manage the full fundraising lifecycle from initial outreach through subscription.
• Own and execute West Coast business development strategy in partnership with senior leadership.
• Represent Peakline at industry events, conferences, and investor meetings.
• Collaborate with investor relations, product, and investment teams to align messaging.
