The Highlands & Islands Squash Association seeks an enthusiastic and experienced Coach Developer to support squash coaches across the Highland region. The role will provide accessible mentoring to coaches and help build confidence, improve practice, and increase coaching capacity.
This part-time consultancy role (10 hours per week) blends in-person and online support, with a focus on juniors and women & girls. Flexible hours and occasional evenings/weekends may be required.
The Highlands & Islands Squash Association supports the growth of the sport in the Highlands region and is managed by a board of Trustees. In partnership with Scottish Squash and sportscotland, Sutherland Squash Club and HISA are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Coach Developer to support squash coaches/clubs across the Highland region.
The role will provide accessible and consistent mentoring and development to coaches who can face challenges accessing support due to the geographical size and rural nature of the Highlands. The Coach Developer will work with coaches to build confidence, improve coaching practice, develop sustainable club programmes and increase coaching capacity. A particular focus will be on juniors and women & girls participation, alongside developing a connected network of coaches across the region.
The role is a part-time position (based 10 hours per week)
