The Highlands & Islands Squash Association is seeking an enthusiastic Coach Developer to mentor coaches across the Highlands, helping clubs grow sustainable programmes and capacity with a focus on juniors and girls. The role blends in-person and online support to reach remote communities.
Part-time consultancy (10 hours per week) with flexible hours; initial 3-year contract, some weekend/evening work may be required. Highland region location encouraged.
The Highlands & Islands Squash Association supports the growth of the sport in the Highlands region and is managed by a board of Trustees. In partnership with Scottish Squash and sportscotland, Sutherland Squash Club and HISA are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Coach Developer to support squash coaches/clubs across the Highland region.
The role will provide accessible and consistent mentoring and development to coaches who can face challenges accessing support due to the geographical size and rural nature of the Highlands. The Coach Developer will work with coaches to build confidence, improve coaching practice, develop sustainable club programmes and increase coaching capacity. A particular focus will be on juniors and women & girls participation, alongside developing a connected network of coaches across the region.
The role is a part-time position (based 10 hours per week)
