Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Regional Cardiovascular Lead Manager to lead field teams across the Western & Central US, recruiting and coaching Regional Cardiovascular Leads to meet regional and corporate goals.

The role requires strategic engagement with scientific/clinical leaders and clear communication of complex concepts. Travel to conferences and customer sites is expected. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6–8 years of sales leadership experience in healthcare or related field.
• Strong ability to present complex scientific/public health concepts clearly.
• Collaborative, prioritizes tasks and proficient with MS Office and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Regional Cardiovascular Leads (RCLs): recruit, develop, retain; provide direction, coaching, training, and performance support.
• Evaluate team impact, maximize performance, and drive business outcomes; foster inclusivity and psychological safety.
• Build relationships with scientific/clinical leaders; conduct approved deep scientific discussions; gather customer insights.
• Stay current via scientific conferences/society meetings; collaborate with other customer-facing teams; partner with marketing/training on engagement content.
• Manage resources (including budget) to achieve objectives and ROI; allocate resources locally.
• Support brand strategy inputs to HQ; influence national strategies on cross-functional teams; develop and maintain strategic plans using multi-leader insights; ensure compliance with regulatory/legal requirements.
