Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age at time of hire.
• Previous dishwashing or wait staff experience preferred.
• Experience operating industrial dishwashing machines preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and assist with kitchen tasks.
• Strong time management and attention to sanitation regulations.
• Willing to obtain certifications (R-Serving, Food Handler, Food Manager) paid by the company.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing machines or by hand.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area.
• Sort, rinse, scrape, and stack dishes before washing.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables according to company policies.
• Transport clean dishes to storage areas or workstations.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks and restocking as needed.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and chemical handling procedures.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure workflow efficiency.
