Wesleyan Assisted Living in Georgetown, TX is hiring a part-time Dishwasher to support our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The role benefits from prior dishwasher experience in restaurant, healthcare, education, or senior living and a passion for delivering excellent dining experiences.

Shift is 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday through Monday. Duties include dishwashing, maintaining the dish area, cleaning floors, assisting with deliveries, and operating the dish machine.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash and store all dishes and equipment according to procedures.
• Maintain the dish room and washing area neat and sanitary.
• Keep kitchen floors clean and trash emptied.
• Assist with transportation and storage of delivered goods and prepared foods.
• Clean, sanitize and reline trash containers.
• Operate and clean dish machine.
• Monitor dish machine performance and report issues.
• Clean cooking equipment and tools; ensure sanitation.
• Support other duties as assigned.

We are currently looking for a part-time Dishwasherto work within our Assisted Living and Memory Care community of The Wesleyan. Experience working as a dishwasher in a restaurant, healthcare, education, or senior living environment along with a passion for providing an excellent dining experience will be essential to your success as a Dishwasher at The Wesleyan.

Essential Job Functions:

• Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with specified procedures.
• Maintain the dish room and pot and pan washing area in a neat, clean and sanitary manner.
• Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.
• Assist with the transportation and storage of delivered goods and with the delivery of prepared foods.
• Clean, sanitize and reline the trash/garbage containers.
• Assemble, operate and clean dish machine.
• Monitor dish machine operational performance; reports problems to supervisor.
• Clean all cooking equipment removable parts, including stoves, ovens, grills, mixers, exhaust hoods, vents and all cooking tools.
• Manage the maintenance of sanitizing temperatures and PPM levels in all dishwashing machines and solutions.
• May be asked to complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must have a service-minded approach to all aspects of the job.
• A passion for working within a senior living community is a must!
