Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Lease Operator in the US Southwest region to perform operational checks on wells, record data, and ensure wells stay up and running. You will work with engineers to monitor production and coordinate with maintenance teams.

The role requires 4+ years of Lease Operator experience, H2S and Safeland certifications, and a strong commitment to safety. You will operate in a rigorous oil and gas environment and must be able to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years Lease Operator experience required.
• Oil & Gas industry experience preferred.
• H2S environment experience required.
• Must pass safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational checks of wells, equipment and plant facilities.
• Record run time, fuel usage, and operating parameters; use SCADA when available.
• Conduct production tests and perform minor repairs.
• Identify alarms and coordinate with automation to adjust them.
• Monitor minor subsurface maintenance within non-BOPE scope.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors on lease activities.
• Maintain lease site upkeep and clear signage.
• Communicate maintenance needs to planners and schedulers.
• Ensure accuracy of run tickets.
• Represent company in delivery/receipt of materials and equipment.
• Maintain safety, environmental compliance with site leadership.
• Secure and maintain all company equipment and tools.
