Job summary

University Settlement in New York City is seeking a Supervisor for Wellness Together to lead casework teams and ensure high-quality services for homebound older adults. You will supervise staff, guide treatment planning, and maintain timely documentation while collaborating with the Program Director.

The ideal candidate has an LMSW, 1–3 years in aging, supervisory experience, and strong communication skills. The role is full-time with a hybrid schedule at 189 Allen Street, New York, NY 10002.

Qualifications

• LMSW is required for the role.
• SIFI Certificate preferred or eligible to earn upon LMSW.
• 1–3 years of aging-related experience required.
• At least one year of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to engage hard-to-reach populations.
• Strong verbal and written communication; good interpersonal and computer skills.
• Proactive, creative problem-solver with ability to work autonomously.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Cantonese, or English/Mandarin) desirable; language needs vary by program.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Program Director to ensure high-quality services and contract compliance.
• Provide individual and group supervision to casework staff and MSW students.
• Oversee development and provision of service and treatment plans and ensure documentation by direct reports.
• Maintain knowledge of geriatric social work practices and incorporate into clinical work.
• Carry a reduced caseload as needed to cover gaps.
• Support intake and assessment of clients and outreach activities.
• Collaborate with external aging partners to enhance services.
