Job summary

Educational Alliance's Center for Recovery and Wellness in New York seeks an experienced Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing duties, medication administration, and psychoeducation in a residential addiction treatment setting. This is a full-time hybrid role with four days on-site and one day remote.

You will supervise RNs, LPNs, pharmacy technicians, and medical assistants, ensure regulatory compliance, manage client care plans, and collaborate with the medical director and interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid New York State license required.
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with substance abuse and dual-diagnosis populations strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Team player, able to multi-task and handle challenging situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
• Competency with computer-based programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook email, Relias, and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Follow protocols and policies for medication management in residential and outpatient settings.
• Maintain accurate recording and reporting of client files.
• Assess medical status of new and existing clients; refer for outside care when appropriate.
• Oversee nursing staff through supervision, coaching, and meetings.
• Develop and implement client care plans; coordinate with medical providers and schedule follow-ups.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to address treatment needs throughout the episode.
