Free People in Mission Viejo is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support selling, service, and store operations within a fitness-forward brand. You will help develop the team, ensure a high-energy environment, and lead initiatives that connect with the FP Movement customer.

The role emphasizes teamwork, brand standards, and omni-channel experiences, with opportunities to influence events and partnerships in the local community.

Qualifications

• 1+ years store leadership experience.
• Passion for FP Movement and/or connection to the local fitness community.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guides the team to prioritize customer service and styling recommendations to drive metrics and store goals.
• Participates as manager-on-duty, driving engagement in each zone and fostering collaboration.
• Supports Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent and onboarding new hires.
• Sustain daily operating standards by assessing sales forecasting and scheduling.
• Collaborates with partners to execute shipment processing, restocking, and product placement.
