Job summary

City Cave - St Petersburg is seeking a founding General Manager to launch and lead City Cave St Pete from day one. You will recruit, coach and build the team, establish culture, and drive guest experiences that set a new wellness destination apart.

You will work directly with the owner and support team to shape operations, partnerships and community presence, while delivering strong commercial results and sustainable growth for the location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience, with 5+ years preferred.
• Experience leading customer-facing teams in a service-based business.
• Demonstrated experience working toward sales, revenue or business goals.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence using KPIs and business performance data to make decisions.
• Experience with CRM, scheduling and reporting tools.
• Ability to operate independently while maintaining strong communication and alignment.
• Experience in hospitality, boutique wellness, spa, hotel, healthcare or premium retail environments preferred.
• Experience opening, growing or improving the performance of a location, or building local partnerships, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of a seven-day service business and ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety and compliance.
• Recruit, schedule, coach and develop the Spa Operations and Massage Therapy teams.
• Create a high-performing culture with clear expectations, regular coaching and strong accountability.
• Lead by example and maintain a visible, engaged presence within the business.
• Coach the team on guest experience, service knowledge, rebooking, memberships and key performance expectations.
• Ensure every guest receives a warm, consistent and exceptional City Cave experience.
• Build relationships with local businesses, gyms, healthcare providers, hotels, apartment communities and wellness professionals.
• Develop an active outreach and partnership pipeline that generates awareness, referrals and guest traffic.
