Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a Manager in Training to learn how to operate a successful salon and manage a high-energy team. You will shadow the Store Manager, coach Wellness Consultants, recruit and develop staff, and help meet store targets.

Open seven days with flexible scheduling, this role includes hands-on training, commission potential, and advancement opportunities within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail, customer service, operations, or management experience (bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and the ability to motivate others.
• Basic computer and POS skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to be on your feet 7+ hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work side by side with Store Manager to learn how to run a great salon.
• Lead and coach Wellness Consultants and Salon Support team.
• Recruit, schedule, and develop great people.
• Set goals, track performance, and monitor training progress.
• Manage labor, cost of sales, and other controllable expenses.
• Deliver customer service that keeps clients returning and resolve concerns professionally.
• Keep the salon clean, stocked, and compliant with health standards.
• Plan and execute local promotions to grow sales.
• Handle cash, deposits, and customer card data securely (PCI training included).
