Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a Manager in Training to work alongside the Store Manager and learn the role from the inside out. You will coach a high-energy team, hit store goals, and run a successful salon in a welcoming, team-oriented environment.

This role offers hands-on training and opportunities for advancement, with schedules that support work-life balance and growth in the tanning and wellness industry.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail, customer service, operations, or management experience (bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and the ability to motivate others
• Basic computer and POS skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to be on your feet 7+ hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Work side by side with Store Manager to learn how to run a great salon
• Learn to lead and coach Wellness Consultants and Salon Support team
• Learn to recruit, schedule, and develop great people
• Learn to set goals, track performance, and follow up on training
• Learn to manage labor, cost of sales, and other controllable expenses
• Deliver customer service that keeps clients coming back and resolve concerns professionally
• Keep the salon clean, stocked, and running smoothly
• Help plan and carry out local promotions that grow store sales
• Learn to handle cash, deposits, and customer card data securely (PCI training included)
