Job summary

beem™ Light Sauna in Austin is seeking a Wellness Sales Associate to actively generate leads and close memberships at our Westlake and Downtown locations. This part-time role demands proactive outreach, evenings/weekends, and a bold sales mindset.

You will educate guests on light therapy, close membership packages, and host community events to grow the member pipeline. Training, incentives, and a fast-evolving wellness brand await.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding targets (membership, fitness, or wellness sales strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to generate your own leads, not just work ones handed to you.
• Strong closing skills and comfort with direct, confident selling.
• Comfortable learning and speaking persuasively about light therapy and wellness technology.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and events.
• Willingness to handle light cleaning and administrative tasks between sales activity.

What You'll Do

Your core job is selling memberships. Everything else supports that mission.

• Proactively generate new leads daily — walk-ins, referrals, local partnerships, social outreach, community events, whatever it takes to build the pipeline
• Confidently pitch and close membership packages, treating every guest interaction as a sales opportunity, not just a courtesy
• Act as a bold brand ambassador, educating guests on light therapy while steering the conversation toward membership value
• Greet and guide members with warmth — but never lose sight of the close
• Host events and drive community outreach specifically to convert new leads into paying members
• Handle front desk duties (phones, check-ins, admin) efficiently so more time goes toward selling
• Keep the studio clean and guest-ready between appointments
