Assistant Sales Manager — beem™ Light Sauna
Locations: Oversees both Austin studios
Westlake — 3600 N Capital of Texas Hwy, Building A, Suite 202, Austin, TX 78746
Downtown — 1211 W 6th St, Ste 100, Austin, TX 78703
Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly
About the Role
beem™ Light Sauna is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to lead our team of Wellness Sales Associates across both Austin locations and own the numbers that matter — membership sales, revenue targets, lead generation, and studio performance. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can coach a sales team, run tight operations, and be personally accountable for hitting the top line at both studios.
You’ll split your time between the two locations, managing schedules, driving associate performance, and stepping in on the floor to sell and set the standard when needed.
About Us
At beem™ Light Sauna, we believe wellness is a lifestyle. Through Infrared Sauna, Chromotherapy, and Red Light Therapy, we give people a space to recharge and glow from the inside out. Our studios are modern sanctuaries where science meets serenity — and we need a strong operator to keep both locations running at full performance.
What You’ll Do
You own revenue, lead generation, team performance, and day‑to‑day operations across both studios.
Revenue & Sales Leadership
- Be directly accountable for hitting monthly and quarterly membership sales targets at both Westlake and Downtown
- Own organic lead generation for both studios — you are measured on the number of organic leads you personally generate and drive through community outreach, partnerships, events, and grassroots efforts at each location
- Coach, motivate, and hold Wellness Sales Associates accountable to daily lead‑generation and closing goals
- Track sales performance by associate and by location; identify gaps and course‑correct quickly
- Step onto the floor to sell, model best practices, and close when the team needs backup
- Drive local promotions, events, and outreach strategies to grow the member base at each studio
Team Management & Scheduling
- Build and manage staff schedules across both locations, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours, evenings, weekends, and events
- Recruit, onboard, and train new Wellness Sales Associates
- Run regular team meetings and 1:1s to review performance, set goals, and reinforce sales standards
- Manage day‑to‑day HR needs — time‑off requests, performance issues, shift coverage
Studio Operations
- Oversee daily operations at both studios, ensuring cleanliness, equipment functionality, and a consistently excellent member experience
- Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor coordination across locations
- Ensure both studios are operating to brand standard at all times, whether you’re on‑site or not
- Troubleshoot operational issues in real time and elevate when necessary
Who You Are
- Revenue-Driven: You think in numbers and take ownership of hitting targets, not just supporting them.
- A Lead-Gen Engine: You don't wait for members to find us — you're out building relationships and pipeline for both studios.
- A Strong Coach: You know how to develop a sales team — pushing performance without losing morale.
- Operationally Sharp: You can run scheduling, inventory, and day‑to‑day logistics without dropping the ball.
- A Multi-Site Operator: You're comfortable managing two locations and shifting priorities between them.
- Hands‑On Leader: You lead from the floor, not just from behind a desk — willing to sell, train, and clean when needed.
- Decisive: You make calls quickly on staffing, scheduling, and day‑to‑day issues without needing constant sign‑off.
Requirements
- 2+ years in a sales management, assistant manager, or team lead role — wellness, fitness, or membership‑based sales strongly preferred
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets through a team
- Demonstrated success generating organic leads — community outreach, partnerships, grassroots marketing, not just working inbound traffic
- Experience managing staff schedules and multi‑location or multi‑shift operations
- Strong coaching and performance‑management skills
- Comfortable with sales metrics, reporting, and holding a team accountable to numbers
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and events, and to travel between both Austin locations regularly
- Comfortable learning and speaking persuasively about light therapy and wellness technology
Perks & Benefits
- Complimentary wellness sessions and employee discounts
- Leadership training and growth opportunities
- The chance to build and shape a high‑performing team at a fast‑evolving wellness brand
- Lucrative bonus structure tied directly to consistent month‑over‑month studio revenue growth and achieving total studio membership qualifiers. Revenue targets feature a capped baseline increase to continuously reward outstanding performance.
