Job summary

The Eugene Family YMCA is seeking a Health & Wellness Attendant at the Don Stathos Campus in Eugene, OR. This part-time role supports our Wellness Center by keeping workout areas clean and safe, building relationships with members, and enforcing safety rules while delivering friendly customer service.

Minimum age 16; strong interpersonal skills are essential. Preferred candidates may have prior customer service experience and Spanish language ability to assist a diverse member base.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the facility to ensure safety of participants and security of equipment.
• Educate participants and enforce rules and regulations for safe facility use.
• Maintain equipment and report safety or maintenance needs.
• Prepare incident and injury reports when appropriate.
• Provide a friendly, upbeat customer service environment at all times.
• Follow opening and closing procedures.
