Job summary

The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Dayton, OH is seeking a Wellness Coach Supervisor to lead the wellness team, coordinate programs, and maintain customer relations in the Wellness area.

Responsibilities include supervising coaches, conducting coaching appointments, assisting with equipment selection, inventory, scheduling, staff training, and serving as the point of contact when the Wellness Manager is away; commitment to confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 2+ years in related roles.
• Current First Aid, CPR and AED required, instructor certification preferred.
• Certifications in Fitness and Health desirable.
• Leadership and supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
• Must read, write and communicate in English with strong written skills.
• Valid driver's license and insured transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise wellness coaches and coordinate staff schedules.
• Complete personal coaching appointments as needed.
• Assist in equipment research, review, and selection.
• Maintain wellness equipment inventory and ordering.
• Schedule quarterly coaching meetings and workshops.
• Lead member retention programs and wellness software.
• Support nutrition programming and staff training.
• Serve as department contact during the Wellness Manager's absence.
• Attend community events as needed.
• Uphold confidentiality and professional standards.
