Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Current First Aid, CPR and AED required; instructor certification preferred.
• Certifications in Fitness/Health desirable.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities; positive attitude in public.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop innovative fitness, wellness, and athletic programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise wellness coaches.
• Conduct personal coaching appointments as needed.
• Assist Wellness Manager in equipment research and selection.
• Maintain wellness equipment inventory.
• Schedule quarterly coaching meetings and workshops.
• Oversee member retention programs and software.
• Oversee growth of nutrition programming.
• Train wellness staff in personal coaching and customer service.
• Serve as department contact during Wellness Manager absence.
• Supervise daytime Wellness Attendants.
• Recommend improvements to the Wellness Manager.
• Attend and staff trade shows and community events as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• All other duties as assigned.
