Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. is seeking a Wellness Specialist to lead onsite and virtual wellness initiatives across client locations. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver holistic programs spanning physical, mental, emotional, and social well‑being to engage employees and promote preventive care.

The role emphasizes education, behavior change support, and referral to resources, with duties spanning scheduling, coaching, and performance tracking. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Wellness coaching certification or comparable credential preferred.
• Office ergonomic assessment experience and certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2–4 years in workplace wellness or related field.
• Experience in client-facing or regional support roles is a plus.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills; ability to influence engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite and virtual wellness programs addressing stress management, mental well-being, injury prevention, physical activity, sleep, ergonomics and related topics.
• Serve as primary contact for wellness services at assigned clients or locations with strong stakeholder relationships.
• Facilitate group education sessions, workshops, challenges, stretch programs, and lunch‑and‑learns.
• Adapt approved wellness programming to align with client culture and workforce demographics.
• Champion participation in digital wellness tools and guide sustained employee engagement.
• Educate employees on available wellness resources and benefits; refer to clinical or community resources as needed.
• Track participation and outcomes using reporting tools; analyze trends to identify improvements.
• Prepare summaries for wellness leadership and client stakeholders to support decision making.
• Identify opportunities for program enhancements and workflow efficiencies.
