Job summary

Heinrich YMCA in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Part-Time Wellness Coordinator to manage health and wellness programs for members under the Health and Wellness Director. This role focuses on delivering engaging programming and maintaining member satisfaction.

Responsibilities include supervising staff and volunteers, coordinating classes and events, monitoring budgets and attendance, and promoting member retention.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Group fitness and/or personal training certification preferred.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.
• Proficiency with standard business operations software and Microsoft Office.
• CPR/AED, Oxygen, and Basic First Aid

Responsibilities

• Supports the management of Wellness Programs with emphasis on revenue streams from personal training and small group programs.
• Coordinates classes, fitness assessments, equipment orientations, and special events.
• Monitors attendance, enrollment, and services provided by the wellness department.
• Supervises wellness staff and volunteers; recruits, trains, and recognizes volunteers.
• Promotes relationships and maintains high customer service for members.
• Performs manager-on-duty functions as assigned.
• Ensures safety, cleanliness, and proper use of center equipment.
