Job summary

Exos is seeking a Manager to lead our fitness programs and deliver a positive client experience at our San Jose location. You will inspire a team of fitness professionals, design tailored activities, and align programs with strategic goals to drive outcomes.

You will oversee group classes, safety compliance, and client relations while mentoring staff and managing budgets to support program success and measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a fitness environment with hands-on training and client interaction.
• Proven experience leading group exercise classes and tailoring workouts for various fitness levels.
• Prior management experience in a fitness or wellness setting.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise a team of fitness professionals, ensuring high-quality services.
• Design, implement, and evaluate fitness, health promotion, and incentive programs.
• Align fitness programs with annual strategic planning to meet goals.
• Manage the program budget, monitor expenses, and generate reports.
• Build relationships with client liaisons to ensure satisfaction and alignment.
• Perform initial fitness assessments and craft personalized exercise plans.
• Offer services to diverse clients, including high-risk participants, with focus on safety.
• Ensure the fitness center is supervised, safe, and health-compliant.
• Lead and manage the group exercise program, including scheduling and instruction.
