Job summary

Oriana House, Inc. is seeking a part-time internship to assist in designing and implementing comprehensive wellness programs that support mental, physical, financial, spiritual and social well-being for employees.

You will help manage FitThumb, coordinate events, and prepare educational materials for the Wellness Calendar. You will collaborate with Human Resources to align initiatives with organizational goals, analyze outcomes, and report results for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be a college student in good academic standing or a recent graduate (within one year) majoring in Public Health, Exercise Science, Public Administration, Human Resources, or related fields.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and address problems and complaints professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and executing comprehensive wellness programs to promote mental and physical, financial, spiritual and social well-being that enhances the well-being of employees.
• Assist in the management of the Agency Wellness Portal, FitThumb.
• Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly wellness events on FitThumb.
• Research data, prepare handouts/materials, use scheduling tools, and coordinate events to ensure effective wellness program delivery.
• Develop and promote wellness programs through flyers, emails, newsletters, and website content using tools like Canva and Outlook.
