Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Programming Assistant to support group programs across IL/AL communities. You will lead daily activities, prepare spaces, and help residents participate in engaging programs under the Director of Wellness Programming.

Role requires driving residents as needed and maintaining a welcoming environment. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ years of group-leading experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience leading groups with varying levels of independence in a similar environment.
• Valid state driver's license and insurance for transporting residents; willingness to qualify for company vehicle license.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency with basic computer tools (Word/Excel).
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily group programs and facilitate engaging activities.
• Transport residents to outings and appointments as needed.
• Prepare program spaces, supplies, and materials, ensuring safety and accessibility.
• Collaborate with volunteers and resident groups; document activities and outcomes.
• Assist the Director of Wellness Programming with administrative tasks and reporting.
• Support MBK’s values in all interactions and maintain a safe, respectful environment.
