Job summary

MBK Senior Living in California seeks a Wellness Programming Assistant to support group programs across Independent Living and Assisted Living under the Director of Wellness Programming. You will facilitate daily activities, prepare spaces, assist with transportation, and help deliver engaging experiences that foster connection and purpose for residents.

The role requires strong people skills, ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and auto insurance for transporting residents.
• Must complete required background clearances and health screening.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient computer skills and comfort with standard office equipment.
• Ability to make sound, independent decisions when needed.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Build supportive relationships with residents to plan and facilitate engaging group programs and events.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and outings as needed.
• Prepare and manage program spaces, supplies, and materials; document activities.
• Collaborate with volunteers, resident groups, and community partners; use CMS tools for reporting.
