Job summary

MBK Senior Living seeks a Director of Wellness Programming to plan and direct resident and family engagement, overseeing enrichment programs and MBK signature initiatives. This role ensures activities support physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in compliance with regulations.

The position includes supervising staff, coordinating transportation, and collaborating with health services to involve caregivers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• State approved Activity Director Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and direct overall resident and family engagement.
• Lead MBK signature programs in dining, fitness, wellness, and care.
• Create monthly activity calendars and newsletters for residents and staff.
• Coordinate transportation and supervise drivers for outings.
• Recruit, train, and supervise department staff and volunteers.
