YMCA of Central Florida in Orlando, FL is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to help members achieve health and well-being goals in a welcoming, safe environment. You will provide high quality training, excellent service, and program guidance on the wellness floor and in the Family Center.

The role requires CPR/First Aid/AED, ongoing certifications, ability to upsell programs, and working flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certification preferred before hire; must obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Diversity experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Actively recruits and retains personal training clients.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Process payments for memberships per policies.
• Assist members on the wellness floor and Family Center.
• Design and document personalized fitness programs.
• Coach and motivate members to achieve behavior change.
• Monitor progress and answer member questions.
• Stay informed on fitness trends to support members.
• Build relationships and upsell Personal Training, Group Exercise, and related programs.
• Utilize tools and information to enhance member knowledge of programs.
• Report accidents/incidents per procedures.
• Respond to emergencies with proper safety protocol.
• Maintain current PT or specialty certifications as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
