YMCA of Greater Indianapolis seeks a Wellness Advisor I to ensure member safety in strength and cardio areas and to lead wellness onboarding sessions. You will conduct one-on-one appointments, connect members to wellness programs, and track progress using YMCA software.

The role requires 18+ years of age, background in exercise science, and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications. Strong relationship building, empathy, and communication are essential to success.

Formación

• Must have knowledge of basic exercise science and wellness principles.
• Must have CPR, AED, First Aid, Safety & Risk Management certifications (or equivalent).
• Experience in wellness onboarding and member engagement is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safety of members in strength and cardio areas.
• Provide onboarding appointments with new members and connect to wellness programs.
• Follow up with members to support ongoing activity and goal attainment.
• Maintain equipment safety and a motivating environment.
• Manage member data and outcomes using YMCA software.
