YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is seeking a Wellness Advisor I to ensure member safety in the wellness areas and to drive onboarding for new members. You will use designated software to engage, track participation, and support members in achieving wellness goals.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, empathy, and strong communication to connect members with suitable YMCA programs and certified trainers. A 5am opener shift is required along with a commitment to safety and program adherence.

Qualifications

• Requires strong people skills and empathy.
• Understanding of basic exercise science and wellness principles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding and retention appointments for new members.
• Instruct and supervise safe use of wellness center equipment.
• Connect members to YMCA programs and follow up on success of connections.
• Use Mobile Fit to track onboarding series and promote exercise adherence.
