Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support the Wellness Manager in delivering comprehensive resident care at the Community.

The role involves coordinating the medication management program and assisting with activities of daily living for residents. The Wellness Nurse will help supervise medication activities, communicate with families and physicians, and participate in staff training and in-service programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold LVN/LPN or RN license in good standing.
• State-specific certification or license.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification if required by state.
• Must complete Atria Medication Management Training if providing reminders or meds.
• Ability to read simple instructions, memos, and basic correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Willingness to work various schedules and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Wellness Manager with implementation, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care services.
• Assist in monitoring the medication management program.
• Assist in supervising the medication program and residents' self-administration of meds.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living as needed.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.
• Report incidents and changes to General Manager/Wellness Manager.
• Assist in completing resident assessments and service plans.
• Assist in training Assisted Living staff and orient new staff.
• Attend in-service programs and staff meetings.
• Assist scheduling and staffing of Wellness Assistants and Medication Assistants.
