Job summary

The Wellington Senior Living in Liberty, MO is seeking a Wellness Nurse Manager (PRN) to oversee the building in the absence of department heads and to lead the Wellness team with a focus on person-centered care. Direct nursing care including medication passes will be performed in alignment with state standards.

Candidates must hold an active LPN or RN license, be proficient with EMR systems, and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in state of employment.
• Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
• Knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
• Read, write, understand and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• Lift and move items up to 50 pounds; two-person transfers.

Responsibilities

• Superior Supervisor: in the absence of department heads, lead the building and wellness team.
• Force on the Floor: assist with call lights, respond to requests, and prioritize residents’ needs.
• Diligent Documenter: maintain accurate resident assessments, medical records and internal documents.
• Compassionate Caregiver: maintain professional and caring interactions with residents.
