Job summary

The Wellington Senior Living in Liberty, MO is seeking a Wellness Nurse Manager for full-time on-site work. You will lead the wellness team, provide direct nursing care including medication passes, and ensure adherence to care standards and regulations.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN or LPN license, with experience in memory care preferred. The role requires strong leadership, documentation accuracy, and a resident-first attitude in a dynamic senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN or RN license in good standing in the state of employment.
• Provide direct nursing care including medication passes as needed.
• Knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of medication regulation and law.
• Experience with memory-impaired residents preferred but not required.
• EMR experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient reading/writing English and effective communication with residents.
• Must be physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop; lift up to 50 pounds and assist with two-person transfers.
• Criminal background cleared.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Wellness team and department operations to ensure person-centered care.
• Assist and lead on the floor, responding to resident needs and call lights.
• Document resident assessments and medical records accurately and timely.
• Provide compassionate, professional care ensuring residents feel safe and cared for.
