Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Illinois is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support resident care and ensure daily medications are administered with compassion and dignity, helping residents live fully.

You will follow the MAR and Six rights of medication administration, use the eMAR system, and collaborate with clinical leadership to provide direct resident care and guidance to the team. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, pay available daily, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to follow physician orders and MAR.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Willing to take state-specific trainings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ on shift.
