Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Wellness Nurse to support resident care and medication administration, ensuring dignity and quality of life for residents in our Illinois community.

This role offers multiple schedules (full-time, part-time, PRN), daily pay, 401(k) with employer match, and comprehensive benefits. CPR/First Aid and an active nursing license are required, with the ability to manage priorities and work with a team.

Qualifications

• Active license as a LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to train on state-specific requirements and eMAR system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Follow Six Rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Lead by example in upholding the Bickford Mission on shift.
