Morningside House of Blue Bell is seeking a Wellness Nurse LPN to join our Blue Bell, PA community. The role provides licensed nursing services to residents and may supervise other staff, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate is a state-licensed LPN (CPR certified preferred) with strong communication skills, able to manage medications, complete care plans, and respond quickly to emergencies in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in the state.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 1–2 years related experience; or equivalent.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents in compliance with federal & state regulations.
• May admit new residents and complete admission assessments and documentation.
• Complete service plans and track clinical systems (e.g., wounds or infection control) under the direction of the Director.
• Provide health-related consultations and education to residents and staff.
• Notify physicians/family of health changes and document accordingly.
• Respond quickly to emergencies.
• Collaborate with team and maintain confidentiality.
• Support oversight of care staff and participate in required trainings.

Wellness Nurse LPN - Position Summary:

Provides licensed nursing services to residents and may require supervision of other staff positions.

Wellness Nurse LPN - Responsibilities:

• Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State




• regulations.




• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments




• and documentation.




• Responsible for completing service plans.




• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the




• direction of the Director.




• Provide general consultation regarding health‐related concerns within the community.




• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently when listening, speaking, reading and writing.




• Notify physicians and/or family of any change in resident’s health and provides proper




• documentation.




• Respond quickly to all emergencies.




• Work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively while maintaining close




• communication with all departments and staff members.




• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff and attend all required training, in‐service




• and staff meetings.




• May provide oversight and direction for care staff.




• Understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan.




• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.




• Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the




• preservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices.




• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families and co‐

Wellness Nurse LPN - Requirements:

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN of the state. A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.




• Must be Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified or willing to become certified.
