Morningside Elite Management is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for Morningside House of Friendship in Hanover, MD. Flexible shifts: full-time, part-time or per diem/PRN to provide licensed nursing services and supervise other staff as needed.

Responsibilities include medication administration, admissions processing, care plan completion, and documentation. CPR certification is required or willing to obtain. Join a team dedicated to resident well-being and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN of the state.
• A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be CPR certified or willing to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications for residents in accordance with regulations.
• Assist with admissions including assessments and documentation.
• Complete service plans and maintain clinical records.
• Monitor wounds/infection control and communicate with the Director.
• Provide health-related guidance and educate residents and staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff; respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other departments to ensure quality care.

Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Position Summary:

Provides licensed nursing services to residents and may require supervision of other staff positions.

Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Responsibilities:

• Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State
• regulations.
• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments
• and documentation.
• Responsible for completing service plans.
• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the
• direction of the Director.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently when listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Notify physicians and/or family of any change in resident's health and provides proper
• documentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively while maintaining close
• communication with all departments and staff members.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff and attend all required training, in-service
• and staff meetings.
• May provide oversight and direction for care staff.
• Understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
• Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the
• preservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families and co-workers.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Requirements:
