Morningside House Senior Living is hiring a Wellness Nurse LPN for a full-time role in Blue Bell, PA. You will provide licensed nursing care, administer medications, and support admissions and care planning in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN of the state.
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 1–2 years related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed nursing services to residents and supervise other staff as needed.
• Administer medications in compliance with Federal & State regulations.
• Assist admissions of new residents including assessments and documentation.
• Complete service plans and track clinical information (wounds, infection control).
• Communicate with physicians and families when health changes occur.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain team communication.
• Provide health education to residents and staff; attend trainings and meetings.
• Oversee care staff as directed and follow Safety & Disaster Plan.

Wellness Nurse LPN - Position Summary:

Provides licensed nursing services to residents and may require supervision of other staff positions.

Wellness Nurse LPN - Responsibilities:

• Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State

• regulations.

• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments

• and documentation.

• Responsible for completing service plans.

• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the

• direction of the Director.

• Provide general consultation regarding health‑related concerns within the community.

• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently when listening, speaking, reading and writing.

• Notify physicians and/or family of any change in resident’s health and provides proper

• documentation.

• Respond quickly to all emergencies.

• Work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively while maintaining close

• communication with all departments and staff members.

• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff and attend all required training, in‑service

• and staff meetings.

• May provide oversight and direction for care staff.

• Understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan.

• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.

• Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the

• preservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices.

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families and co‑

• workers.

• Adhere to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Wellness Nurse LPN - Requirements:

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN of the state. A Bachelor’s Degree from a four‑year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified or willing to become certified.
