Job summary

The Phoenix at Opelika is seeking a Wellness Nurse to join their team. The LPN reports to the Wellness Director and is responsible for monitoring health, administering medications, and coordinating resident care.

We value leadership, compassion, and flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends. Experience with elders or dementia care is preferred to support our residents’ wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge/experience in Assisted Living and Dementia care preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and provide nursing care.
• Administer medications and document changes accurately.
• Communicate with resident support services and families.
• Support Wellness Director and lead wellness initiatives.
• Complete clinical sections of monthly wellness visits and PSP as required.
